One, two, three,
On your mark
Get set
Go
The race of life has begun
All goals are plainly in sight
Requiring only for us to push ahead
Fanfares on the sidelines are only distractions
To win we must ensure to keep our focus
The temptation to look to the sides is great
But we must not give in if we want our impact to be significant
So with eyes on the prize
Our mode of operation is not willy-nilly but rather methodically
With our game plan in order we accelerate at full-throttle
Knowing that with God’s help we will achieve the goal.
